South Georgia Fire District bills quarterly with a base fee for service of $50.00 and is paid by everyone regardless if any water is used. This base quarterly fee provides the finances To pay all fixed monthly Bills that the SGFD receives. In addition to the Base fee is a .00651 cent per gallon charge for water used. This fee provides the finances to pay for the maintenance and rebuilding of the aging water system.

Example:  6,550 gallons = ($50 Base fee) + (6,550 x .00651 per gallon fee = $42.64) = $92.64
